THE DETAILS:
THE ROLE:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market reach.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and decision-makers within the construction industry.
- Drive revenue growth through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and conversion of new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM software.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record in service selling, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Strong network and connections within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in a consultancy or related field is preferred.
