Business Development Manager





  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand market reach.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and decision-makers within the construction industry.
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and conversion of new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts using CRM software.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge in the market.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in service selling, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong network and connections within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a commission-based environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a consultancy or related field is preferred.
