SAFEPASS
Safepass is a mandatory one-day health and safety awareness programme. The programme aims to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry and to ensure that, over time, all site personnel undergo basic health and safety awareness training to enable them to work onsite without being a risk to themselves or others who might be affected by their acts or omissions. Candidates who successfully complete the programme will receive a Safepass Registration Card. Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, all construction workers in Ireland – including apprentices and trainees – are legally bound to hold a valid Safepass Registration Card. IPAF MEWP
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) MEWP is an overall name for powered access platforms which can refer to any type of Mobile Elevating Work Platform MEWPs / Cherry Picker. IPAF MEWP training is strongly recommended and is increasingly becoming a requirement for MEWP operators working on Irish construction sites.
IPAF 3a Operator category covers the safe use of Mobile Vertical machines generally called Scissor Lifts.
IPAF 3b Operator category covers the safe use of Mobile Boom machines which are self-propelled booms and may be articulated or telescopic booms and can be driven at height. Our MEWP Training / Mobile Elevating Working on Platforms course or more commonly known as Scissors and Boom lift course is designed for operators who do not hold a certificate or whose certification needs refreshing.
CONFINED SPACE
The aim of this course is to provide all course candidates with an awareness of the legislation and hazards relating to confined space operations. This is aimed at all managers supervisors and operatives who may need to enter or supervise the entry of confined spaces.

ABRASIVE WHEEL
This half-day course is designed to provide the course participants with the appropriate knowledge of the hazards and dangers of working with Abrasive Wheels. It also provides the participants with the expertise required to mount an abrasive wheels. Course content:
- The hazards arising from the use of abrasive wheels
- Identify the methods of marking abrasive wheels as to type and speed
- List the methods of storage, handling and transportation of abrasive wheels
- Show the methods for testing and inspecting wheels for damage
- Demonstrate the correct method of mounting an abrasive wheel including knowledge of the function of the components
- Show the method of dressing a wheel
- To adjust the rest correctly
- The requirements of the regulations
- Risks associated with Power Tools
- Practical training session, from which all delegates will be assessed
CSCS MOBILE ACCESS TOWER
The Mobile tower scaffold training and assessment programme enables trained erectors to gain recognition for their achievements by the way of certification, and provide an opportunity for participants to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and competence associated with mobile tower scaffold operations.
